Initial Consultation:

It will take about 15 minutes to complete the new patient forms. Please bring your insurance card and driver license.

Your first session will be 120-minutes long.

Dr. Yana will focus on getting to know you, gathering a comprehensive health history, and understanding your health concerns and goals. During that time, questions will be asked regarding lifestyle, diet, stress levels, sleep patterns, digestion, elimination, and medical history in order to establish a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment plan.

There will be ample time for you to ask questions, and time will be left to give you your first acupuncture treatment. The tongue and pulse will also be examined as these are important diagnostic tools.

Please never arrive on an empty stomach. Be sure to have a meal prior your visit. Use restroom before your acupuncture treatment begins. Wear loose fitting clothes that can easily be pushed up to elbows and knees without restriction to the arms or legs. Please do not wear tight clothing.

We do not treat patients under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol.

Your medical history is important for Dr. Yana. If you have diagnostic tests and reports from other practitioners that pertain to your current health concern, please bring copies so that I can provide the best care possible.
